We measure the mechanical strength of the used felt (in warp and weft directions) in accordance with standard DIN 53857.
We examine:
Through detailed study of the strength and elongation graphs, we can determine the origin of any deterioration in the filtration media (chemical and/or thermal deterioration of the fibres).
For more detailed investigation, it is possible to analyse the chemical composition of the dust, to determine the element or elements responsible for premature destruction of a filtration media.
We also have access to the specialized laboratories of our partners, the producers of technical fibres, such as Lenzing for Profilen®, DuPont de Nemours for Nomex® fibre, or Inspec Fibers for P84®, Procon® and Dolanit®.
